Payment information: Processed entirely by third-party processors. Fulrez does not store or have access to your full card details.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, journey progress, and search queries.

Behavioural signals: How you interact with recommendations and which programmes you save.

2.3 Technical and third-party information

Device information: Browser type, operating system, and IP address used for approximate location.

Social login: Name and email provided by Google, LinkedIn, etc., if used for sign-in.

3. Why We Collect It and the Legal Basis

We collect your information to provide the Fulrez service — matching you to pathways, building your visa profile, and managing your journey. We have a legal basis for every type of processing we do.

Our lawful bases for processing include:

  • Performance of a contract: Necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interests: Improving the platform, security monitoring, and ML scoring.
  • Consent: For marketing communications and community participation.
  • Legal obligation: To comply with applicable laws and regulatory requests.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to run the platform — generating recommendations, managing your journey, building your visa profile, and connecting you with consultants. We do not sell your data.

We use your data for:

  • Generating recommendations: Using ML scoring to match you to programmes.
  • Managing your journey: Personalised checklists and guidance.
  • Consultant communication: Enabling advisors to provide specific advice.
  • Platform improvement: Aggregated analytics and model training.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party under any circumstances.

5. Who We Share Your Information With

We share information with service providers (hosting, payments, messaging) and with consultants/institutions only when you initiate that as part of your application.

We disclose information to:

  • Service Processors: Infrastructure (Aws/Vercel), Payments (Stripe/Paystack), Messaging (Chatwoot).
  • Consultants: Verified professionals assigned to your case.
  • Educational Institutions: Only when you explicitly initiate an application.

Fulrez is based in Nigeria. Where we transfer your data outside your country, we ensure appropriate protections (like Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

We keep your data as long as you have an account and for a period after closure as required by law. You can request deletion at any time.

Active accounts are retained for the duration of the service. Upon account closure, we retain data for a statutory period to comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

You have rights over your data: access, correction, and account closure. Users in the UK, EU, and Nigeria have additional rights including erasure and objecting to processing.
